My brother Brian invited me in when still The Pills back in 1982 based in Tucson Arizona. Shortly after, we updated the name to reflect the music’s shift and moved to Phoenix Arizona for more opportunities.

Violin, saxophone and keyboards were my contribution to a sound, and expressive style that attracted the interest of Alice Cooper and Dick Wagner (if you don’t recognize those names, ask your parents, or even grandparents 🥳) to produce this, our maiden EP: Gentlemen Afterdark.

Amazingly, from the catacombs of Fervor Records the hit Netflix series Stranger Things featured our “Open The Door” to open it’s 3rd season in 2019.

Original members all played on this record: Brian Smith, vocals/lyrics; Robin Michael Johnson, guitars/backing vocals; Winston A Watson Jr., drums; Fred Cross, bass guitar; and myself.
