The Megatone Records company was (is?) located on Castro Street in San Francisco, CA. In 1981, they issued the LP "Megatron Man", San Francisco-based musician Patrick Cowley's first album. Only 10,000 copies of the first pressing (M1001) were made before Megatone had to stop because another label, Fusion, was threatening to sue on the basis that it included the songs "Menergy" and "I Wanna Take You Home", to which Fusion owned the rights.
As a result, Megatone geared up and pressed M1002 (this record), replacing those two songs with "Sea Hunt" and "Teen Planet".
Here is a copy of M1002. The record is in very good condition, with only a few marks that do not affect play. The cover has some wear on the edge where the title is printed, but otherwise is in remarkably good condition.
