This is a must-have for any Beatles fan! This German edition of the iconic White Album is an LP with a 33 RPM speed. It features Lennon/McCartney's classic compositions, produced by Sir George Martin and released under the Apple label in 1968. The vinyl material is in excellent condition, and the record grading is rated as Excellent (EX).
The sleeve grading is Very Good Plus (VG+), and it comes with the original catalog number SMO 2051. This edition is numbered and a complete set. It is a black coloured vinyl that comes with stereo sound, and it is a German Top Loader, which is a unique feature of this edition. This is my original copy of a German Edition of “ The Beatles “ AKA.. “White Album” bought around Christmas time 1968.
Please study the pictures as they form main description.
You will see from the images that there are a couple of issues with the sleeve, there is a 1.5 “ split to the bottom of the front and another 1/2 “ beginnings of a split to the bottom of the back. There are two small tears to the top of the back of the sleeve, albeit, the cover has retained most of its original white colour and looks great.
The inner sleeves are white replacements .
The poster is fully intact with no tears or writing but evidence of drawing pin marks, the same with the 4 original colour prints.. intact with no creasing or writing but were displayed on the wall back in the day and show marks where that happened .
The vinyl is stunning looking and plays great! The labels are clean with no writing and no spindle marks.
