CONDITION: EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT Test pressing -- mostly previously unreased and new material from Louis armstrong on this 12" lp test pressing from 1980 This unusual LP should greatly interest collectors. Included is a variety of previously unreleased material spanning a 24-year period in the great trumpeter's career. Armstrong is featured on broadcast versions of "Dinah" and "Twelfth Street Rag" with his big band, singing "Flat Foot Floogie" with The Mills Brothers, backing Frank Sinatra on "Blue Skies," rehearsing a couple of songs in 1947 with the all-star cast of the film A Song Was Born, performing five numbers at his famous Town Hall concert (including four on which he is backed only by a rhythm section) and playing two songs in a small group with Duke Ellington recorded a few months after their famous joint recording.
