Avec "#EIGHT", les rockers suisses présentent leur huitième album studio après avoir contribué à plusieurs productions hollywoodiennes telles que "Wolverine" (Six Feet Under), "24 Heures Chrono" ou encore apparaissant dans la bande-annonce et le film "Hit & Run" avec Bradley Cooper.

Ils ont assuré les premières parties de groupes prestigieux tels que Kiss, Def Leppard, Dio, Motörhead, Ted Nugent, Airborne, Gotthard, Doro, Uriah Heep et bien d'autres encore. Choisi par Adidas en 2012 pour composer l'hymne "Rockstar" à l'occasion du concours international de grimpe, Sideburn démontre qu'il est définitivement un groupe de "LIVE" en accompagnant musicalement les athlètes pendant 3 heures à la Porsche Arena de Stuttgart.

Leur succès international peut être attribué à un savant mélange de rock pur qui se situe entre ZZ top et AC/DC et ce feeling empreint de refrains accrocheurs se retrouve pleinement sur ce nouvel album.

Avec ce huitième opus, Sideburn célèbre également son 20è anniversaire. Une carrière musicale riche et dont l'histoire n'est pas prête de se terminer !

Le premier single "Turn Away" et son clip video sont disponibles dès maintenant en avant-première et une série de concerts seront donnés à partir du printemps et jusqu'à la fin de l'année.

With "#EIGHT" the Swiss rock band SIDEBURN release their literal eighth album following musical contributions to several Hollywood productions in the past like "Wolverine" (Six Feet Under), the show "24" and the trailer to the movie "Hit & Run" with Bradley Cooper.

In recent years, they supported bands like Kiss, Def Leppard, Dio, Motörhead, Ted Nugent, Airborne, Gotthard, Doro and Uriah Heep on stage. The band proved to be firmly established as a live band at the three-hour event "ADIDAS Rockstar" in 2012 for which they even produced the song "Rockstar" on special request by ADIDAS.

The international success so far can be attributed to the crisp hard rock sound, somewhere between ZZ Top, AC/DC and pure rock'n'roll, and the right feeling for catchy choruses flourishing again on the new album with simple ease and resulting in over 30,000 sold albums by now.

With their new album, SIDEBURN also celebrate their 20th anniversary and are able to look back on an impressive band history which is nowhere near its end. The new album is accompanied by the first single "Turn Away" which will be pre-released together with a video clip, as well as several shows being scheduled in spring and sommer.

Die Schweizer Rockband SIDEBURN veröffentlichen mit "#EIGHT" ihr wortwörtlich achtes Album, nach dem sie in der Vergangenheit unter anderem Songs zu einigen Hollywood-Produktionen beigesteuert haben. So zum Beispiel zum Film "Wolverine" (Six Feet Under) sowie der Serie "24" und dem Trailer zum Film "Hit & Run" mit Bradley Cooper.

In den vergangenen Jahren wurde die Bühne mit Bands wie Kiss, Def Leppard, Dio, Motörhead, Ted Nugent, Airborne, Gotthard, Doro und Uriah Heep geteilt. Dass die Band live eine feste Größe ist, bewies sie nicht zuletzt auf dem dreistündigen "ADIDAS Rockstar" Event im Jahr 2012, für den sie eigens auf Anfrage von ADIDAS den Song "Rockstar" produzierte.

Nicht zuletzt der knackige Hard Rock-Sound, zwischen ZZ Top und AC/DC und purem Rock'n'Roll angelegt, und das richtige Gespür für eingängige Refrains, die sich auch auf dem neuen Album erneut mit einer schnörkellosen Lockerheit entfalten, sind verantwortlich für den bisherigen internationalen Erfolg, der zu mittlerweile über 30.000 verkauften Alben geführt hat.

So feiern SIDEBURN mit ihrem neuen Album auch ihr 20-jähriges Bestehen und können somit auf eine beeindruckende Band-Historie zurück blicken, die sicher noch längst nicht dem Ende zu geht.
