CONDITION: V+ on this SAVOY 857 release from 1951 ...primarily a Detroit, Michigan recording artist, Fowler's bands and music capture that 1940's and 50's Detroit scene -- during these sessions FOWLER teamed with bassist Henry Ivory and drummer Clarence Stamp behind a not trumpeter John Lawton and saxophonists Walter Cox and Lee Gross, Fowler presented hot music for dancing and the occasional slow grind and among some of his stand out recordings for SAVOY -- this is "BACK BITER" and "WINE COOLER" both presented here -- this record is a strong player, but it does have numerous scuffs but nothing to detract overall from the music on this 10" 78 rpm record - please see photos for overall condition -- play graded on a modern tuntable with 78 stylus.

This record will be securely packed in a new box with cardboard pads, bubble wrap and packing peanuts or other fillers.
