Label: E. Berliner Gramophone
Description: E. Berliner Gramophone Record #8004. The label indicates it is Sousa's Band but with Henry Higgin's name and an asterisk. Per the DAHR website, the recording was made between October 1897 and March 1899.
The disc has a loud and rough start for the first few grooves, but otherwise surface noise is about average for the age of this disc. There are surface scratches, dimples, and divots consistent with other recordings of this age, but the record was tested and does play through.
