For sale is FRANK SINATRA, "Sings Days Of Wine And Roses, Moon River and other Academy Award Winners" on Reprise F-1011, Mono, DG, 1964.
SOUND: VG+ or better It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is extremely clean and clear overall, with one caveat: there is a very light tic in A2, "Moon River," for a few revolutions. Very minor. The entirety of the rest of the playback is first-rate!
VINYL: VG+ (but read the description) The vinyl is in overall great shape. The grade is limited to VG+ due to a very slight feel-able mark on A2, "Moon River," which causes a very soft tic for a few revolutions. Other than that, the rest of side A has a bit of very faint, routine handling. Side B is a notch better, could be "NM" on its own.
JACKET: NM The condition is lovely: solid and sharp all-around, bright and clean. The only flaw is a little writing in the back upper-left. Includes original inner-sleeve, crisp and clean!
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
Good value: Buy-it-now for $25.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material. Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
