Al Wilson – Searching For The Dolphins (SCARCE 1969 Australian 12” Vinyl LP Album housed in picture sleeve near mint - Liberty SLYL 933,283) A ‘lost masterpiece' of 1960s soul, by one of the finest vocalists of his generation. Al Wilson's "Searching For The Dolphins" was one of the first albums to spotlight the work of renowned songwriter Jim Webb. It includes one of the earliest versions of Webb's `By the Time I Get to Phoenix' and the original version of `Do What You Gotta Do', which Jim wrote especially for Al. Also featured is Al's Northern Soul classic `The Snake'.

Al Wilson went on to become one of the most successful Soul hitmakers of the mid 70s with hits like `Show And Tell' and `I've Got A Feeling'.

The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG)              

The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.

GOOD (G)

The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.

CONDITION: This item is in excellent or mint condition unless stated above.
