Ram is the only studio album credited to the husband-and-wife music duo Paul and  Linda McCartney, and the former’s second album post-Beatles. Released on 17 May 1971 by Apple Records, it was recorded in New York with guitarists David Spinozza and  Hugh McCracken, and future Wings drummer Denny Seiwell. Three singles were issued from the album: "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" (McCartney's first number 1 hit in America without the Beatles), "The Back Seat of My Car" and "Eat at Home". (The recording sessions also yielded the non-album single "Another Day".)  It topped the national album charts in the UK, the Netherlands and Canada. Today, Ram is held in high regard by many music critics and is often ranked as one of McCartney's best albums. It has also been recognized as an early indie pop album. In 2023, Ram was ranked number 450 on Rolling Stone's list of the greatest albums of all time.

THIS COPY is a 1st Jacksonville pressing.  Of note is that the title and artist's names are in the upper left area on the side one label; this is a rare arrangement compared to most other pressings, which normally has that info spread across the top.  The vinyl has some visible light marks, but they do not affect playback.  The vinyl is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition.  The original gatefold cover has some light ring wear on the back, but otherwise looks great.  The cover is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition.  The inner sleeve has about a 5 or 6 inch split in the middle of the bottom seam, but otherwise it is in Very Good condition.
