This is for TWO Elvis Presley Sun 45's...217 and 223 Baby Let's Play House bw I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone & Mystery Train bw I Forgot to Remember to Forget
Record 1. Sun 217 Elvis Presley
Baby Let's Play House bw I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone (I'm left has a small bump/imperfection in the trail off groove and on automatic players and my jukebox it will not eject or return tonearm. See photo) Tear on Baby label from sticker removal(?) and wear on label both sides. VG Minus Record 2. Sun 223 Elvis Presley Mystery Train bw I Forgot to Remember to Forget
(Writing & wear on labels) VG Minus Both have been play tested on my Seeburg Jukebox and my 50's era RCA phonograph and play thru with the ever present Sun hiss and expected crackles & pops. Hiss is not as bad on these as it was on the earlier Elvis Sun 45's. Minor scruffs and hairlines on all four sides. Like most early 45's these were stacked with other records when played but vinyl still retains some shine, a little lest on Mystery Train. Visually both 45s have something to be desired but I literally just played both thru on my Seeburg Library Jukebox and a '56 RCA automatic 45 phonograph and the sound is incredible for two 70 year old records. Previous owners obviously enjoyed them as much as I have. Push marks either visible to the eye or can be felt on 217. 217 Matrix numbers: U-143X-2-72 / U-142-45-72 223 Matrix numbers: 45-U-156X-20 / 45-U-157X-20 No push marks on 223 I have other copies of both these records and the labels and vinyl grade higher but don't sound as good. Every time I play these Sun records, I'm blown away by the sound that Elvis, Scotty, Bill and Sam Phillips were able to create in tiny Memphis Sun Studios. Review photos carefully to check out the labels and vinyl yourself and PLEASE ask any questions. 45's pictured are the exact items buyer will receive. No refunds, returns or exchanges.
