Ode to Billie Joe is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Bobbie Gentry. It was released on August 21, 1967, by Capitol Records.  

THIS COPY is a 1st Jacksonville pressing from 1967 (See Notes, below.)  The vinyl is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition, with some visible (scuff?) marks that do not affect playback.  (I noticed during a test listen that the title tune sounded especially crisp and clean.) It includes the "Misprint" by which is meant that the song listing on the back cover does not match what is on the vinyl / labels.  In some cases, the song titles - besides being out of order or even on different sides - varied somewhat. (Again, see Notes, below). The original cover is showing minimal shelf wear in the form of slight ringwear and some rubbing of the edges.  It is in Very Good Plus [VG+] condition. The inner sleeve had been replaced by a new, plain white one with center hole.
