Often described as their heaviest album, Queen II takes hard rock. progressive, and art rock in a direction all their own. The degree of originality and over all direction in their sound is beyond impressive; from the opening 'Procession/Father to son', through the Brian May focused 'Some day one day' to 'Ogre battle' and 'March of the black queen', it all flows perfect and so just right. It's an incredible listen.
And I'm not even mentioning Freddie Mercury's amazing vocal range here. An original Japanese pressing with minimal wear to the gatefold sleeve, check the photos above Brian May's head and also the tiny dent in the lower corner. You see it? I don't either. The vinyl has been carefully played and stored away for years and the lyric/info insert is in great shape.
