TITLES: The Soul of a Man / Church, I'm Fully Saved To-Day
LABEL: Columbia 14582
CONDITION: G+
DESCRIPTION:
Scarce Blind Willie Johnson 78 from his final session, recorded in Atlanta, 1930. With worn records, letter grade is less important than how it plays. Here, with a 3 mil stylus vocal is a bit muddy and there is background noise; with a 3.9 mil stylus, the music signal is stronger, the background noise is significantly less and replaced with some scratch-crackle. A 3.5 mil stylus is somewhere in the middle.
