This is an original 1984 Ashton Clinton 1st pressing of The Smiths “Hatful of Hollow” compilation album. Dead wax Matrix codes are ‘Rough 76 A1 and Rough 76 B3’. These look etched in which I’ve been told is correct for a first press. These are incredibly scarce in the United States and this is a beautiful example. Note, the headings I am using are from what I’ve been told by folks in the vinyl community. I typically do not sell vinyl and so I al not confident in my ability to grade. Despot this I have been told by several that the cover ranks very good, and the media itself anywhere between VG-VG+. I have even been told it may rank NM. However there is a small amount of dust on the vinyl and I do not have the tools to clean and play test. The vinyl itself however is in absolutely beautiful shape. No scuffs or scratches that I can see, and it is still very glossy. This was purchased from a collection that was mostly heavy rock, so I’m thinking it didn’t see much listening throughout the years. Overall an absolutely beautiful example of a very uncommon album. Shipped USPS Media mail.
