(SIDE ONE MATRIX #BR-2104 31476-1 STERLING RL; SIDE TWO MATRIX #BR-2104 31477-1 STERLING RL)
Very rare vinyl first edition/first pressing of the classic self-titled 1972 album by Bobby Charles. The album was issued by the Bearsville Records label and the record was mastered by Bob Ludwig.
The album was acquired from the estate of the late Mary Martin in Nashville. Ms. Martin was the sole owner of this Bobby Charles record for more than 50 years. Ms. Martin was a longtime friend of Emmylou Harris and signed her to her first recording contract with Warner Bros. in the 1970s. Ms. Martin was also an early manager of Leonard Cohen and Van Morrison, and first introduced Bob Dylan to The Band in the 1960s when she worked for Dylan's manager at the time.
Condition: The vinyl is in excellent condition with no marks or scratches. The outer jacket is in very good+ condition with some small creases and light ring wear (see photos). VERY difficult to find this vinyl in such great condition! Free shipping!
