Originally recorded as a demo and then pressed as a limited 12" vinyl on the small 206 Records label, Queensryche laid down some of the best indie Metal of the early 80's. 'Nightrider', 'Blinded' and 'Queen of the reich' take their obvious Maiden and Priest inspirations and create a newer heavier sound full of killer riffs and dynamic energy. This promising direction didn't transfer well to their next records, 1984's 'The Warning' and the terrible 'Rage for order' from 1986: this killer EP is the one to get. This 1983 pressing on the EMI label is in the original shrinkwrap and is in tight condition all around; no bends, creases, or seam splitting. Some obvious wear to the opening are evident in the photos. Vinyl is a nice EX with side one visually closer to VG++ due to a few light hairlines that do not effect playback. Sounds great with the bass turned up! If Queensyche had split up after this EP it would be a top dollar Metal rarity for sure.
