After Hours [Prestige] Review by Scott Yanow Courtesy All Music.com

This two-LP set combines a pair of leaderless jam session albums, Olio and After Hours; the latter set has since been reissued on CD in the OJC series. The overlapping personnel features trumpeter ,  on tenor and flute, either vibraphonist  or guitarist , pianist ,  or  on bass and  or  on drums.  contributed six of the ten originals,  brought in three and the band also interprets "Embraceable You." This straight-ahead collection finds these young musicians playing quite well and uplifting the dates above the level of routine jam sessions.
