A used LP ultrasonically cleaned with Tergikleen typically plays not only better but often much better than a just-opened sealed LP would as even a sealed LP that has yet to see any turntable action, while visually perfect, has residues, oils and contaminants in the grooves from the manufacturing and cutting process that affect true fidelity.  These are nearly all removed by the Tergikleen ultrasonic process resulting in shocking and dramatic improvements in fidelity.  What metaphor can one use?  The difference between a "normal" LP and one that is Tergikleen ultrasonically-cleaned could be likened to watching an NFL game on your smart phone compared to sitting at the 50 yard line in a stadium on a Sunday afternoon.  It is a sensory experience of the highest order.  Even in music heard 1,000s of times before, the listener will discover things they never knew were there, and be exposed to new layers of richness and texture that will thrill and delight.
