RUSSIAN pressing from Antrop plant
ANTROP П91 00150
Led Zeppelin, their first record, often referred to as Led Zeppelin I, or One.
This was produced in 1991 during the Perestroika period where Russia was beginning to open up to the West.  As the legend goes, these pressings were officially licensed and tapes were officially supplied to the plant.  At about the same time the Soviet Union started to fall apart, and the result was economic lawlessness and free-for-all. It appears the Russian label started to do their own thing particularly with sleeves - hence this unusual sleeve variation.  It is not the most outrageous of the bunch (look for my other auctions), but still a highly collectible item.
The LP is new, never listened to.  However, it is not sealed.  That's why I'm listing it as a M-, not fully mint.  Back in the USSR they did not seal their records.  Never.  Probably didn't have the shrink wrap to do it (seriously).  You'll have to trust me, I was in Russia at the time, and bought a few copies as soon as they came out.  This particular copy was properly stored all this time.
Happy bidding!
