Four years after an intense heavy rock collaboration LP with Blues Creation, Carmen Maki took an progressive leap forward with her next project, Oz. Full of emotion charged Japanese vocals, pumping hammond organ and killer hard melodic guitarwork, it's an overlooked 70's classic rocker. Side two's 'Bar room woman blues' adds in a bit of Bonzo Dog Band/ Beatles flavour, leading into 'I am the wind', a longer jam with plenty of Uriah Heep moves. Cover and vinyl are both in EX condition, check all the photos which document this thoroughly. Included is a lyrics/photo insert that's a bit wrinkled in a few spots, but doesn't look too bad. Over all, not a bad follow up to her album with Blues Creation, Carmen Maki & Oz is well worth looking into.
