KATE BUSH - SYMPHONY IN BLUE - FULLHOUSE - EMI EMR 20567
KATE BUSH Symphony In Blue (1978 Japanese-only EMI 2-track 7" vinyl single, also includes 'Fullhouse', housed in a die-cut company sleeve with unique 'Kate riding a dolphin' picture insert with lyrics on the reverse EMR-20567).
Never been played, never been cleaned, no finger marks, no spindle marks, and just as gleaming as the day it left the factory (see pictures). The Goldmine Grading Guide describes 'Mint' as - ( MINT (M): Perfect! This record looks like it has just left the manufacturer, with NO flaws what so ever. It looks as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains)
I refuse to use the words 'perfect' or 'mint' in descriptions but this record certainly challenges my honesty. This record is better than 'Near Mint'. The Goldmine Grading Guide describes 'Near Mint' as - (NEAR MINT or NM, M- : this record appears virtually flawless A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. It should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw is very hard to see ) There are no flaws on this record as far as I can see.
So, I will grade this record, reluctantly, as 'Near Mint'
The covers I shall grade as VG.
The original outer plastic cover shows signs of storage but no rips or splitting (see pics)
The die-cut company sleeve shows 'cat claw damage' to one corner (see pics)
The unique 'Kate riding a dolphin' picture insert with lyrics, shows slight crease marks but the printing shows no wear or scuffs and the edges are clean and un-feathered. The rear lyric side shows no yellowing.
