Witchcraft formed twelve years ago as tribute to their heroes, Pentagram. Their heavy, blues-based, psychedelic-tinged music referenced the darker side of rock. Flying largely under the radar of popular music, Witchcraft is a hallowed name in underground circles and has been championed by a diverse cross-section of distinguished music adherents including Down/Pantera frontman Philip Anselmo, who proudly proclaimed Witchcraft as his "new favorite band."

Legend was recorded with renowned producer Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (Kreator, Opeth, Katatonia) in Orebro, Sweden. The album marks the recording debut of the band's new guitarists and drummer and is their first album since 2007's The Alchemist. Limited edition double gatefold LP with bonus track.
