THE MORE RARE "MT TAX CODE" EMBOSSED ON SIDE 2 LABEL
Condition:
Sleeve: GOOD: This sleeve has seen better days, but is original. Although clean and free of writing and stickers, it has wear and fraying to the spine area [see photo], small spits either end of the central fold, and creasing to the laminate in various places. The original inner "flipback" seams are intact and in good order, if a little stained and discoloured with age. The inner sleeve has been replaced and is now plain white with rounded corners and patent number.
Record: VERY GOOD : The heavy 150gm vinyl is in far better condition than the sleeve. Side 1 has several very light hairlines, but nothing significant. Side 2 has a few more noticeable scratches, but nothing too serious. There's a nice sheen to the vinyl, and both labels are very clean and bright. Side 2 label shows the "MT Tax Code" embossed, although it is feint and you will need to locate it with a good light.
I have listened to the LP a few times [lovely MONO sound quality], and it plays very well throughout - with some static between some tracks, and I did detect a couple of light audible pops during track 1, side 2 [where one of the scratches covers the track from start to finish]. Nothing serious, but it has to be mentioned in the listing.

I try to accurately describe the condition as per The Record Collector's Guide's parameters:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or unplayed should be mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have some slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
