Rock-A-Billy 125. Willie & The Original Stablemen. "Guitar Rock" b/w "It's Saturday Night". This is the Original and only pressing of this record. Very subtle storage warp which does not affect play. This record only came out on Blue vinyl. Of all the records on the ROCK-A-BILLY label, this is easily the rarest. Only 100 copies were made due to issues with the pressing plant. This record received essentially no distribution. Musically, Willie Lewis take on "Guitar Rock" is just superb. "It's Saturday Night" is also one of the finer songs released on the label. Willie certainly hit it with this "2-Sider". Get this one while you can. With relatively few copies being available, this one will sell out quickly. PAYPAL ONLY.
When Willie Lewis(Klug) started the Rock-A-Billy record company, I was given copies of each release. I discovered these records recently in storage. When I talked to Willie Lewis about them, he said that most of them have been unavailable for years. The quality of the music is very good to excellent for each release. These are authentic sounding rockabilly and on occasion psychobilly releases. Carl Sonny Leylands "Air Conditioner Blues" is a piano blues rocker. Toni Dudley does a good version of Ruth Brown's "This Little Girl's Gone Rockin". Apparently, there is a significant demand for these records today and for this reason, I am making these records available. These are ORIGINAL PRESSINGS. These are not reproductions, etc. They have been in storage for many years going back to 1983. When they are gone, they will be gone. There are no other stashes that exist. All will be at set sale. Most of the label will be listed. A few are so rare that I do not have but a few copies.
