Album Notes:

Shellac (sometimes referred to as Shellac of North America) is an American group composed of Steve Albini (guitar and vocals), Bob Weston (bass guitar and vocals) and Todd Trainer (drums and vocals). Although they have been classified as post-hardcore they describe themselves as a “minimalist rock trio”.

At Action Park is the first full length record by Shellac, released in 1994. Contrary to popular belief, the title has nothing to do with the infamous New Jersey theme park, ActionPark, which closed in 1996 due to numerous fatalities. Drummer, Todd Trainer, came up with the title of the fictional park because it sounded cool.
