SUPERB COLLECTION OF 112 PROG/PSYCH/ROCK LPs
CRAMMED WITH RARITIES
Here's an amazing collection of albums that includes some very rare Vertigo Swirls and lots of prog/psych gems that turn up very seldom indeed! Everything from Hawkwind, Curved Air, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple & Led Zeppelin, to Aphrodites Child, Colosseum, Greenslade, Tanned Leather, Jade Warrior, Caravan, Budgie, Vinegar Joe, Amon Duul, etc, and many rare gems and real collectors items!
This lot is packed with vinyl pressings you'd be REALLY hard pressed to find in other lots on ebay, so don't miss your chance!
THE QUALITY OF THIS LOT IS VERY HIGH, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS, THE VAST BULK OF THESE RANGE FROM EX+ TO NR.MINT. I HAVE MENTIONED WHEREVER ANYTHING IS LESS THAN EX, BUT THESE ARE VERY FEW AND FAR BETWEEN!
(WHERE THERE IS NO MENTION OF CONDITION,THESE FALL BETWEEN EX TO MINT)
** MORE PHOTOS WILL BE ADDED OVER NEXT FEW DAYS **
ARTISTS ARE:
APHRODITES CHILD - 666
(Rare & highly sought after double album on the rare Vertigo Swirl label. Cover is nice, about Ex, though many people on ebay these days would grade as Ex+. Looks great, though if you angle it to the light, you can see some very light ringwear, but otherwise a very nice cover indeed. Vinyls have a few light surface scuffs, which do not affect play, apart from the lightest of light crackle in just two very short quiet parts. Apart from that, the sound is absolutely superb)
MAGNA CARTA - LORD OF THE AGES
(On the Vertigo Swirl label, inc Lord Of The Ages, That Was Yesterday, Song Of Evening etc. Nice Ex+ copy)
URIAH HEEP - VERY 'EAVY.....VERY 'UMBLE
(Nice copy of the rare Vertigo Swirl pressing. Cover is about Ex, with just a very small & barely noticeable crease on the top left of the front cover, and just some very light ringwear beginning on the back cover, but only really noticeable when angled to the light. Vinyl just has some light hairlines which do not affect play. Sound quality is absolutely superb!)
JADE WARRIOR - S/T
(The very rare & highly sought after, self titled album on Vertigo Swirl!! These fetch a lot of money these days. Great album inc Sundial Song, The Traveller, Windweaver, Dragonfly Day, etc. The cover is very nice apart from some ringwear on the back cover, just on the top third or so. Vinyl is Ex).
COLOSSEUM - THOSE ABOUT TO DIE SALUTE YOU
KING CRIMSON - IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING
(On the rare Island pink rim pressing, 1969. An album that was way ahead of its time. Beautiful copy, sleeve is about Ex++. Vinyl is Ex/Ex+ visually, but plays as Ex++)
ISOTOPE - S/T
(Soft Machine related album. Just some very light ringwear on the cover)
BOB DOWNES - EPISODES
(Quite hard to find prog album these days, from the highly talented Bob Downes, with some superb Tullesque flute)
GREENSLADE - THE PENTATEUCH

PINK FLOYD - OBSCURED BY CLOUDS
INTO A CIRCLE - INSIDE OUT
THE GUN - S/T
(Rare & truly superb album from 1969! Includes their hit single Race With The Devil, though this was actually the weakest track on the album, the rest of the tracks being longer and much more intricate, less heavy and more prog/psych. Superb examp,e of early psych/prog at its very best! Beautiful, grades at least as Ex+, probably more Ex++. Turn up only very rarely these days)

Well balanced set of tight melodic and prog rock that never descends into self indulgence. Banks' guitar sparkles throughout, matched with some superb swathing Hammond keyboards and squelchy ARP synth, A great album, definitely in the same league as the best of the prog classic albums. Seldom sells for less than £40 in this condition, nowadays)
