Vinyl Grade: Near Mint.  There are no spindle marks on either label.  Please see photos, I always show close-ups of the labels at an angle to reveal any spindle marks (or absence of spindle marks) on the labels.  Vinyl shines like new, and plays outstanding.  Amazingly quiet between songs, and extremely dynamic with great (and tight) bass.  If I had to characterize it, I would say it sounds the way you always hoped it could sound.  This record should definitely be played LOUD.

Cover Grade:  VG+ due to a little lifting of the black on the back side that is typical of this cover, and a half-inch of the black lifting on the spine.   Comes with the "Promotional Copy" gold stamp in the upper right hand corner and the DJ timing strip across the front bottom, a true PROMO cover.

Inner Sleeve:  VG+ due to 1" seam-split, LP is stored in a modern poly-inner sleeve to protect both the record and the original inner sleeve

Notes: The best album AC/DC ever made, an all-time classic, original 1980 1st issue promotional copy.  Mastered by Robert Ludwig with his initials in the deadwax on both sides.  The fragile black cover is about as good as you can hope to find, and the all important vinyl is near mint, top condition.  And... sounds... GREAT.  The DJ promo copy is the earliest pressing, always collectible, and the Ludwig cut flat out rocks, which is exactly how this music was meant to be heard.

Packaging (open LPs): The album will be removed from the cover to eliminate the possibility of seam-splits.  The LP and cover are placed in a clear outer protective sleeve, and sealed.  The (now sealed) album is then sandwiched between two large cardboard stiffener pads, carefully centered and taped together.  This keeps the LP stationary and the album cover centered, allowing the oversized cardboard reinforcement pads to protect the edges and corners of the cover from dings. 

The album “sandwich” is then packaged with bubble-wrap and Styrofoam peanuts in an oversize box.  The box is large enough that it should easily withstand even being dropped directly on its corner without damaging the cover inside.  I know very well what it is like to receive poorly packaged records, so I am careful to make sure your album is safely packaged and arrives safely.

Tracking: You should automatically receive your Tracking Number by email when the Shipping Label is printed.

No Return Policy:  This collectible LP is long out of print, not replaceable, and fragile by nature.  I have packaged many hundreds of valuable record LPs over the years, but most people have not, and it's not an easy thing to do properly.  When I have accepted returns in the past, both times (yes, I've had two albums returned in the last 14 years) they arrived with damage to the cover.  I realize it's not intentional, but it happens.  One trip through the postal system is enough, so this album is offered with eBay's 'No Return' policy in effect for this listing.  As always, if there is a problem with the album itself (e.g., item is somehow not as described), just let me know, I am a reasonable person and eBay's money back guarantee is still in effect.  Of course if the album is damaged during transit please let me know immediately and SAVE the packaging because it is needed for the Insurance claim.  We will get the Insurance claim filed right away and process your refund as quickly as possible.  Please check my feedback, you will see that I only offer top quality record albums and my customers are happy!
