All records are 45 rpm 7" vinyl ... I will go through and pick out 40 random titles ... all records are at least in EX- / VG++ condition and many are closer to NM-, (these grades is for the record themselves) many are without original sleeves, but all are in sleeves ...

lots of original 45s from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s ... motown, some northern soul, country, rock, even some pop ... there aren't any children's albums or holiday albums or any real stinkers ... no junk artists!!

many are in protective outer sleeves, many are not ... it's really just a mix ... I don't have the time to go through and price and list each record individually , so my time constraints are your collector's gain!

I will reduce shipping charges if you purchase more than one lot! All items will be packaged secure and with care, and special shipping requests will be accommodated within reason.

Please ask any questions you may have.

Thanks for bidding!!

GRADING:

Because of its popularity the Goldmine standard is used. I play each record through with the best of my attentive abilities to listen for imperfections and other flaws all collectors will be keen to know beforehand and forthright. And a brief note on 45s, I tend to grade these much heavier on the playability and music quality sides, rather than sleeve condition and the like. The grading is as follows:

M / NM : Seldom will an item receive this grading as it is used far too often for marketing purposes that lead to higher chances of buyer remorse. I use it as more of an endpoint on the scale and less of a real grade. The record must be perfect in every way and unplayed, a veritable time capsule piece.

EX : New condition, played perhaps a handful of times and always handled with a collector's care. A speck or two of visible dust here, no scratches, and no deterioration of sound quality. With the exception of 45s, outer and inner sleeves without creases, markings, bends, or ringwear.

VG+ : A record I'd recommend but with emphasis on the possible amount of play the record has received. A bit more dusty, perhaps with need of cleaning, but no serious smudges or scratches other than standard handling. These records have received quite a few more plays, but remain shiny, unwarped, and still provide regular, distortion-free, thoroughly enjoyable listening experiences for ages to come. A passage of static here and there that provide character than instability. I'll allow some inner and outer sleeve wear here, but nothing serious. We begin to stray slightly from serious collectors territory here and enter the realm of the hobbyist or home archivist.

VG : A record I'd still recommend but with caution to the collector, as the record itself will have slightly more smaller scratches, but still nothing serious enough to warrant a lower grading. Record will likely need to be brushed and transferred to a static-free storage method to preserve musicality without further degradation. Inner and outer sleeve is more evident; a split seem here, greater visible discoloration to labels and sleeves. Record still provides a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience, but with a few more pops and ticks. If you're dying to own the record and have had trouble finding a copy in the past, don't hesitate to buy, but don't overpay.

VG- / G+ / G- : Absolutely no skips allowed, as has been the case all along, but with noticeably more static and a visible rise (but barely) with rotation. Buy cheap and listen for the memories, but keep an eye out for better copies. Not the collector's choice, but if you're looking to fill a spot or find some remastering practice, consider snagging a few.
