RARE GREEK CATALOGUE OF VINYL RECORDS AND CASSETTES FROM 1971, IN TOP CONDITION

THIS IS AN ORIGINAL CATALOGUE, IT IS NOT A REISSUE

BACK IN THE EARLY DAYS, RECORDS COMPANIES WERE ISSUING CATALOGUES WITH THE LATEST RECORD RELEASES AND PREVIOUS RELEASES ("BACK CATALOGUE")

MOST OF THOSE CATALOGUES WERE THROWN AWAY AFTER USE, SO NOT MANY EXIST THESE DAYS, ESPECIALLY IN NICE CONDITION

THIS IS AN ORIGINAL CATALOGUE, OF 120 PAGES FROM THE RECORD COMPANY CALLED "ELLADISK" WHICH WAS THE PARENT COMPANY THAT ISSUED IN GREECE VARIOUS LABELS SUCH AS PHILIPS, FONTANA, POLYDOR, MERCURY AND OTHERS. IT SHOWS THE BACK-CATALOGUE (FROM THE 60s UNTIL 1971) OF THOSE COMPANIES UNDER VARIOUS MUSIC GENRES, SUCH AS FOLK, EASY LISTENING, ETC.

IT IS ENTITLED "GENERAL RECORDS & MUSIC CASSETTES CATALOGUE"

IT SHOWS RECORDS BY LABEL NUMBER ORDER

INTERESTINGLY, BACK IN THOSE DAYS, THERE WAS NO "ROCK" GENRE AND RECORDS BY GREEK GARAGE/ROCK GROUPS WERE FILED UNDER EASY LISTENING. THERE ARE SOME RARE RECORDS LISTED HERE, E.G. LP BY CHARMS, OLYMPIANS, BLACK SABBATH, ETC.

CONDITION. IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. NO MISSING PAGES. NO LOOSE PAGES. NO TEARS. SMALL PEN MARKS ON 4 INNER PAGES

Record Collector's Grading System

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover or any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packing might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite notable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
