Dorothy Ashby "Afro-Harping" LP. this is a 1984 repress done by Chess. Catalog number is listed on cover as both CH 9164 (printed in uppper left corner of cover and on spine) and as CH-91555 (appears to be gold-stamped in upper right corner of front cover). labels say CH-91555.

I have heard that this Chess pressing is cleaner and louder than the Cadet version.
vinyl shows very little to sign of having been played or handled. no spindle marks.
cover is also in very nice shape. shrink has torn open a little bit near bottom and top edges, from opening edge inward 3 or 4 inches. otherwise shrink is very tightly intact. Very, very little surface wear to shrink. It clearly has spent a lot of time not being handled, before being stored in a plastic sleeve (or has always or almost always been stored in a plastic protective sleeve).
