VISUAL INSPECTION ONLY

 

·         Mint (M)   Absolutely perfect; never been played

·         Near Mint (NM)   Nearly perfect record. No obvious signs of wear, signs of slight handling.  LP cover has no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects, no cut-out holes.

·         Excellent (E)  Some signs that it was played/handled - good care. Surfaces shows some signs of wear/slight scuffs/very light scratches, should not affect listening. Label may have some ring wear/discoloration, but barely noticeable. Center hole not misshapen. Cover may have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners slight seam split /cut-out hole, indentation.

·         Very Good (VG)  Surface noise possible upon playing, but should not overpower the music. Some groove or light scratches - deep enough to feel with a fingernail - that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing/tape/stickers (or their residue). Album Cover may have the same defects.

·         Good (G), Good. SHOULD play through without skipping, but some surface noise; scratches/visible groove wear A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects.

·         Poor (P), Fair (F)   IS JUST THAT. MAY BE: cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully seam split, crinkled, and written upon.
