Harry James and his Orchestra with Frank Sinatra

Melancholy Mood/From The Bottom Of My Heart

Brunswick 8443

Rec July 1939.

AN ICON RECORD

This is the first record by Frank Sinatra and is surprisingly rare for a Harry James record. Allegedly, 8000 copies were pressed.

The record is V+V.  Not a lot of groove wear and it plays without distortion.  There are a lot of scratches and the record plays on both sides pretty much all the way with ticks. If ticks bother you more than distortion, it's V.  The record played better with a smaller, 2.0 stylus.
I'm relisting this because the winning bidder last time did not pay. PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO OR CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY.

Records are graded visually. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. I use the VJM grading system--N, N-, E+, E, E-, V+, V, V-, G, F, P.   My highest grade is E+ unless the record is known to be store stock. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.

78s will be properly packed and shipped in a box with cardboard squares and bubble wrap, not a record mailer.

NOTE FRAGILE 78 RPM SHELLAC RECORDS, DUE TO THE BOX AND PACKING MATERIALS REQUIRED, CANNOT BE SHIPPED AT THE SAME COST AS EBAY'S DEFAULT SHIPPING FOR LPs. PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE.

1 Record =  U.S. Media Mail--$6.00, Priority $10

    Canada $17.50,  Overseas---$25
