This is a 1970 pressing of Led Zeppelin III. Red and purple label.
The run out groove has the important 'A5 Do What Thou Wilt', on side one. And 'B5 So Mote It Be' on side two. This suggests it is an early pressing.
Notes on Condition of the Vinyl.
Some sellers would grade this copy as 'Excellent' or even 'Mint'. I am being honest and grading it as 'very good plus'. I've enjoyed listening to it, and I'm fussy about vinyl, so I guess it's a decent record.
Visually the record is in very good to excellent condition, it has a few marks but plays very well. It is a very noise free record apart from 2 tracks.
Immigrant Song - has a small scratch audible in the middle of the track. It's such a rocking track it's not very noticeable.
Gallows Pole - has some crackles at the start of the track.
The cover is in decent condition. It has gone a little off colour, but it's the correct cover - not a reissue cover as is sometimes found. The 'fun wheel' turns well with no problems.
Here is a decent early copy for you to enjoy.
In my 40 years of buying vinyl, Lep Zeppelin records in true mint condition are very difficult to find, as they have normally been played a lot. And probably on bad turntables with worn styli.
