Hello record collectors and vinyl junkies, I'm in the process of selling off the majority of my record collection to finance the ongoing restoration of a classic car...hopefully without going bankrupt! So please check back often, as I'll be listing hundreds of LPs over the next few months.

Anyway, let's continue with this one by Bing Crosby and Trader Vic Bing & Kathy's African Safari released by Trader Vic in 1968 (CRC-0052)

Bing and Kathy's African Safari Tarrat Metropolitan Area with Trader Vic & Helen Bergeron Lawrence & Leonora is a 10" EP with the "A" side is a song by Bing Crosby that tells of his African safari with Trader Vic and his wife Helen and another couple. The "B" side is Tiki hero Trader Vic (Victor Bergeron) telling the humorous Buffalo Story to a Luncheon crowd in 1960. Great liner notes on the back cover discuss the hunting trip. This record was not released in large numbers, it was only available at Trader Vic's Restaurants during Christmas during the late 1960's.

The Bing Crosby track is difficult to find as it was not released on one of his LPs. It is an odd track for Bing, with him happily boasting of the trophys he is looking for to decorate his walls (certainly no politically correct today)

Please see cover and label photos for track listings.

The record has a few very light marks that are visible under a bright spotlight but do not effect play. The cover has Xmas 1968 written in pencil on the back but no seam splits cut out marks, rips, tears or other problems.

I grade on a stricter scale than Goldmine (at least the watered down version that seems to exist here on eBay) I will take the time to describe any flaws on both the cover and record itself rather than give a letter grade that will mean something different to seemingly every record buyer and seller.

I am a very picky record collector and have been let down many times buying a record that was graded VG++ or NM here on eBay and other mail order services that were pretty beat up...and I'm sure that has happened to you too!

Sorry if the photos above appear washed out...this is caused by the camera flash...the colors are brighter and bolder in person.

Please feel free to email with any questions but keep in mind that unless there is a "Buy It Now" price listed above, I will not respond to any questions or offers to end an auction early...Thanks for your understanding!

The fine print:

Payment is due within three days after end of the auction. I only accept payment through Paypal - if you do not have a Paypal account, please email me BEFORE bidding to inquire about alternative payment methods.

Due to overwhelming requests, I generally ship domestic packages by Media Mail. However, please keep in mind that while Media Mail is the cheapest shipping method, it is also the slowest. Media Mail can take several weeks or MORE to arrive. Media Mail shipping within the United States is $4.00 including mandatory Delivery Confirmation.

I do combine shipping for multiple purchases. The $4.00 covers between one and two albums. Additional albums (three and up) are an additional .50 cents each. Please wait for an invoice from me as the Paypal system does not calculate the combined shipping.

Overseas shipping is by Air Mail only. Shipping for one LP to Canada is $14.00 and everywhere else in the world is $20.00. Overseas shipping is by regular air mail and can take anywhere from one to four weeks to arrive. I do combine shipping on overseas purchases - I will send an invoice with the combined shipping cost if you purchase more than one LP.

Sorry I no longer ship to Italy or the Russian Federation due to the high number of "lost" packages.

All records are mailed in cardboard record mailers with cardboard inserts to prevent damage. LP will be removed from the cover to prevent seam splits while in transit.

Thanks for looking and good luck!
