Live At The BBC … And Beyond
RARE Limited Edition purple Vinyl LP
DUE TO THE LIMITED NATURE OF THIS RECORD (ONLY 500 in the world) We will not be restocking these AND ONLY HAVE 15 Copies.1964 was the year that the Rolling Stones broke through as a worldwide phenomenon and these are the amazing performances which introduced the Stones to an eager world. These thirteen tracks are all previously unpublished and make their vinyl debut here. They represent the very best of the Rolling Stones broadcasting live to air during their R&B heyday and all tracks are performed by the classic line up of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman and Brian Jones.
Keith Richards has always maintained that the Stones were better live and could never quite capture the sound in the studio. This album gives credence to that belief. Firing on all cylinders, the Stones deliver a near perfect set as you’re likely to hear. Keith’s backing vocals on It’s All Over Now and If You Need Me are sublime and Mick delivers his performance with understated confidence.
Essential listening for every stones fan.
