THE BEATLES The Beatles' Second Album Rare original 1964 German Odeon label 11-track STEREO Export LP
Catalog Number ZTOX 5558 - Apparently these were pressed in very limited numbers exclusively for distribution to military bases in Germany. There were only two Beatles albums with 'ZTOX' catalogue numbers. This one is apparently the rarest German Beatles album in existence!
The jacket is in good condition, shows wear along the edges mostly, the opening is well worn from removing the record.
The record is in poor condition. There is one large and one small dent in the vinyl. My 2 turntables was able to navigate the dents on both sides with little problem (I think I tried it 6-8 times and it skipped once on the larger one). The rest of side one played fine. Side 2 track #1 is unplayable. I can see a scratch on the lead in groove that causes the needle to be thrown into the track and then it just keeps skipping across the whole track. Apparently the scratch continues across the track even though I can't see it. The rest of side 2 plays fine.
I believe the record sleeve is the original. It is in good condition with two tears on the one side on the inner cut out (see photos).
Because of the play-ability issues with the record I would not recommend buying this to play. Maybe you have a good record with a bad jacket or just need a less then perfect copy for your collection until you find a better one.
I have additional close up photos of the jacket I can send if interested. Didn't have room to add them here.
