Janis Joplin “Infinity Blues” RARE ORIGINAL LIVE LP NOT TMOQ MINT BLUE VINYL
Artist: Janis Joplin Title: “Infinity Blues" Label: none (JJ10 A/B) Year: 1971
Condition: Vinyl - MINT Cover - VG++
Description: very rare original live recording of Janis Joplin playing live at Winterland in San Francisco, CA in May 1970. This is NOT a TMOQ pressing, at least from what I can tell. There are no stickers or evidence of there having been - however the matrix numbers are the same within the runout groove (JJ 10 A/B *). Pressed on blue vinyl as pictured. The jacket is is in M-- shape showing little to no age and the vinyl is in absolute PERFECT condition, appears unplayed. This being a boot, the audio is not always full due to the way it was recorded. The vinyl itself plays / sound perfect, but the way it was recorded isn't exactly 'professional', so buyer should be aware!
***BIDDERS - PLEASE READ THE BELOW***
I grade my LPs VERY conservatively and accurately under a bright light. A description of the grading scale is below:
M: MINT - perfect. vinyl is pristine / cover is flawless and/or sealed
M- : just under mint. a very, very slight amount of wear on the cover or inaudible wear on the vinyl (surface wear from age, generally) but is otherwise flawless
VG+: vinyl / cover shows signs minor signs age or wear that are more or less undistinct / inaudible.
VG: vinyl / cover shows some visible wear / age but is overall in very good shape. pops and clicks may be ever so slightly noticeable, but don't effect play or overall listening experience.
VG-: vinyl / cover shows some relatively apparent age but is in overall good shape and still a fine copy to own / play.
G+: vinyl shows some heavy wear but overall sounds decent. cover has some flaws or shows much age
G: vinyl is in pretty rough shape visibly but plays ok. cover shows a lot of age or has some major splits or tears.
G-: vinyl looks / sounds pretty rough. cover has major condition issues such as water damage, large rips, etc
*a double "+" or "-" indicates that the condition is just above or below the neighboring grade
