PLEASE READ: I am doing a favor for
an elderly friend of mine. Previously she had given me a bunch of
vintage Beatles stuff (including LPs, stuff from the American fan club,
etc.) to sell for her to help pay for her property taxes. I did well,
all my buyers were happy, she made a lot of money, it was good for
everyone. Again she wanted some extra cash for different costs, so she raided
her basement and gave me a ton of vintage LPs to sell. Those sales went
well so she gave me some 45s and now she's given me some MORE LPs to
sell. She wants a new fridge, and had to spend the last round of money I
made her on tires for her car. Anyway, lots of LPs, including Beatles
and Stones and other cool stuff. As far as I can
tell, all these are original and since she's basically had them in
storage for the last 30 years or more, they're (as a whole) in impressive shape.
I had my
coworker who is a huge vinyl aficionado look at them and he said many are
in great shape, he's never seen early Beatles stuff with the records
themselves in such good shape, etc. He did mention that a few of the
LPs themselves are a bit dusty but could be cleaned easily enough (none have been play tested). As
I'm not a vinyl expert my any means, I didn't attempt to clean them.
That said, many of the LPs I'm listing are in very respectable shape.
In general (I'll try to specify in the "Condition Description" portion if something is different) the LPs are
in "great shape for their ages" (my coworker, again) and the outer
sleeves are free of spits, the inners might not be free of splits, and a
few of the sleeves seem to have had some slight warping at the corners
due to moisture. None of the LPs seem warped to me, but I'm hardly an
expert. Obviously, PLEASE LOOK AT PHOTOS TO SEE
CONDITION as the pics will tell you what you're getting better than I
can. I've made my best attempt to describe them, so if you need more
than the pictures provided please ask a question before bidding, I'd
rather take care of that now than have a person buy something and for
some reason not be happy with it because they didn't bother to ask ahead
on details they needed clarification on.
Since these are all vintage and its to help out an elderly woman on a slim pension, it should be obvious that all sales are FINAL,
no exceptions.
Rest
assured that I do know how to ship LPs, my vinyl loving pal gave me
tons of LP mailers and I did great work with the Beatles stuff some
months back. Shipping discounts for multiple LP purchases, $2.99 for
the first LP, $1.99 for each one after
that.
If this kind of stuff (LPs from the 60's-80's) turns your
crank, please keep an eye out for future auctions, she keeps surprising
me with what she's turning up in her basement. I'll put up more of her
record collection little by little as my schedule permits.
No international shipping except through eBay's Global Shipping Program meaning I ship to US Addresses only, and do not mark things as a lesser value or a "gift" etc. on customs. Please
don't ask if I'll make an exception, I WON'T.
All my auctions
are NO RESERVE so the highest bidder takes it.
Also let it be
known that I'm not running a "store" or "business"
here on eBay. I'm just a guy selling some stuff to help a friend. That said, there is absolutely no returns,
all items are sold "As Is" and all sales are FINAL, no
exception. Please ask all questions before bidding.
Pay Pal only.
Happy bidding!
