Description: very rare original Brazilian LP here - Grupo Queluz De Minas’ “Pra Vida”. Amazing mixture of rock, psych, folk, samba, MPB and jazz - this is a pretty crazy LP. The group features a cast of about 13 singing and playing on the LP including Celio Balona. This is an extremely rare LP - and to come across it in such beautiful condition is crazy. The vinyl is in PERFECT mint condition and the jacket shows very little age. It comes with the original insert as pictured, too. A bit more info on the group below:
The "Queluz" Group started in 1979 in Conselheiro Lafaiete, Minas Gerais... in order to do a concert in tribute to a musician of our city, João Salgado, was teacher of 02 band members. He was part of the family "Salgado" who was known for making the legendary, and now rare, "Violas Queluz" . After the success of the initial event were several proposals for presentations and emerging group performed in numerous cities in "Minas Gerais" and important projects in the state capital. The group was awarded in many festivals of song, very common in the era. In 1981 launched a 7" double, In 1982 a LP "Prá Vida" all favoring music copyright. These LP are depleted. In the 90's came a compilation bringing together these 02 papers on a CD, which is extremely rare. The Queluz was basically a vocal - acoustic group playing their own songs. Even today, even after its extinction in 1983 many young musicians still perform frequently their songs like: "Esse Meu Coração", "Veludo" e "Poeira". BIDDERS - PLEASE READ THE BELOW
I grade my LPs VERY conservatively and accurately under a bright light. A description of the grading scale is below:
M: MINT - perfect. vinyl is pristine / cover is flawless and/or sealed
M- : just under mint. a very, very slight amount of wear on the cover or inaudible wear on the vinyl (surface wear from age, generally) but is otherwise flawless
VG+: vinyl / cover shows signs minor signs age or wear that are more or less undistinct / inaudible.
VG: vinyl / cover shows some visible wear / age but is overall in very good shape. pops and clicks may be ever so slightly noticeable, but don't effect play or overall listening experience.
VG-: vinyl / cover shows some relatively apparent age but is in overall good shape and still a fine copy to own / play.
G+: vinyl shows some heavy wear but overall sounds decent. cover has some flaws or shows much age
G: vinyl is in pretty rough shape visibly but plays ok. cover shows a lot of age or has some major splits or tears.
G-: vinyl looks / sounds pretty rough. cover has major condition issues such as water damage, large rips, etc
*a double "+" or "-" indicates that the condition is just above or below the neighboring grade
