This is an 8-disc lot of LANGWORTH discs. These date from the early 1940s and are mini-LPs in a bizarre 8" size - to the best of my knowledge, LANG-WORTH was the only company who made these. You may find one or two of these for sale in the future, but you will absolutely never see so many sold at once, so if this piques your interest, this is your only chance to get it.
7 of these are on regular black vinyl, and WESx 328 (Leon Payne, pictured in upper right) is on blue vinyl. This is extremely rare for records pressed in the 1940s.
You'll see that many of them are denoted as non-ASCAP recordings - these were made to get around the musicians' strike that took place during 1942-1944 which also probably explains their bizarre size and format. :)
These typically sell for $10-15 each - get all 8 for $29 here. (huge savings!) I will not split up the lot.
Check my other auctions for rare library joints, jazz/blues/1910-1940 78s, spoken word, and other treasures for samplers, beat makers and DJs. :)
