Excellent (EX) Minimal signs of playing and handling. Little or no audible noise, scuffs or scratches which have no affect on listening experience. The label may show light wear. Cover may show slight wear. Very Good Plus (VG+) Some signs of playing and handling. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect listening experience. The label may have some ring wear or discolouration. Cover may have slight signs of wear. Very Good (VG)

Some surface noise when playing (e.g. in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but do not overpower the music).  Light scratches. Cover shows signs of wear.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+)

Plays through without skipping. Significant surface noise. Scratches and visible groove wear. Cover or sleeve may have splits, ring wear or scuffing.

Poor (P), Fair (F)

Record is cracked or warped or won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged or split.
