"ONE TOGETHER" (Jeremy Spencer)

How can my heart be filled with doubts of you,
When you can fill me with a love that's true?
But I can't help but sigh,
And sometimes wonder why,
What can I do?
I want to see you more and more each day,
I really need you, you're my only way,
You say it's alright now,
But still I wonder how, what can I say?

I've dreamed a thousand dreams,
And cried so many tears,
Because when you're not in my heart, it seems,
Like I've wasted all my years.

Someday together we will fly to the sun,
And then we'll think of all the things we've done,
Everyone will smile, happy all the while,
Now that we're one.

I've dreamed a thousand dreams,
And cried so many tears,
Because when you're not in my heart, it seems,
Like I've wasted all my years.

Someday together we will fly to the sun,
And then we'll think of all the things we've done,
Everyone will smile, happy all the while,
Now that we're one.
FLEETWOOD MAC: "Kiln House" LP. SECOND UK PRESSING, 1976 ON THE TAN 'Steamboat' LOGO REPRISE LABEL.
THE FIRST PRESSING WAS RELEASED SEPTEMBER, 1970 ON THE SAME LABEL BUT WITH THE PRE- 'Kinney Records'
'RSLP 9004' CATALOGUE NUMBER.  A VERY RARE FIRST PRESSING IN LISTENABLE CONDITION AND I AM DELIGHTED
TO OFFER A TRUE MINT, UNPLAYED RECORD, PRESSED ONLY SIX YEARS AFTER THE FIRST ISSUE BY CBS.

TEXTURED TAN / MUSTARD COLOUR 'Steamboat' REPRISE LABEL: K 5001.
The 'WEA' logo was introduced in 1976, it was past time "Kiln House" was made available again after the Stevie Nicks and Lindsey
Buckingham 1975 rejuvenation, that ignited a whole new chapter for F.Mac.  In 1976, all I really need say to illustrate that, the
single "Rhinnanon" was issued from the 1975 self titled or "White" LP, in case that magnificent track is unknown, go to You Tube
and in the search box type, 'Fleetwood Mac Rhiannon Live 1976 Stevie Nicks', than see and hear how sensational and intensive the
1976 live versions were.

MAITRIX:  K 5001 - A2  / K 5001 - B1

ORIGINAL 1976 CBS / REPRISE, CURVED CORNERS, PLAIN WHITE TEXTURED PAPER INNER SLEEVE, PRINTED WITH
"Made In England" AND A PATENT NUMBER ON THE FRONT BOTTOM RIM.
UNUSED AND UNAGED, IN MINT- CONDITION.

1975 SINGLE COVER, THE WONDERFUL ARTWORK PAINTED BY CHRISTINE McVIE ON THE FRONT & BACK,
IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS ON THE FRONT & BACK OF THE 1970 GATEFOLD ALBUM.
Christine's time at Art School was not wasted, her beautiful painting portrays the innocence of children who are at one with nature
and the fairies and goblins adults cannot see.   With a pale cream background, at such a great age now, the 1970 and 1976 covers
are in a terrible state, it's a real pleasure to see this completely unaged, unfaded and totally unworn cover, the actual colours are just
incredible after 40 years.  The sensitivity of the "Gothic" UK printer in 1976, included fantastic colour tones and not removing the
1970 'RSLP 9004,' from the top right corner.  It was actually painted by Christine in the same lovely colours to blend it in with the
tree, just above the bee, unlike all following printers who mad a mess on that corner by crudely erasing it.   Instead, 'Gothic Print'
printed 'K 5001' on the top right corner, plus they kept the 1970 artwork's continuous printing over the spine. I have shown both
ends of the spine with printed titles in close-up pictures, nothing could possibly demonstrate the fantastic condition of the
cover, than that pair of pictures. Even the record impression is too gentle to mention and my pictures say it all.
NOTHING ELSE NEEDS DETAILING, AN INCREDIBLY STORED COVER AND THE GRADING HAS TO BE MINT- CONDITION.

THE IMMACULATE LABELS AND AS NEW, GLEAMING VINYL POSE A PROBLEM FOR ME.
You might have gathered I have been a long term Fleetwood Mac Fan ever since 1967, I really love "Kiln House" for the glorious
music, but also because it immediately followed the 1969 "Then Play On."  "Kiln House" bridged the Peter Green era with the same
musicians who performed on their 1969 first Reprise label album, that would became the final Fleetwood Mac album with Peter.
I am itching to play this pristine record but as I have never found a true Mint 1970's pressing and I have been looking since the
late 1980's!  I feel I have to offer this unplayed and put aside my personal affection for this beautiful album, 'beautiful' is the
right word for the contents and the magical cover artwork, which also happens to be in the ultimate, astonishing condition as
the record.
THE RECORD IS IN UNPLAYED MINT CONDITION.

Recorded June - July, 1970 at De Lane Lea Studios, London
Engineered By Martin Birch
Produced By Fleetwood Mac
Recently I had the pleasure of playing, describing and listing, the last ever Fleetwood Mac album with the great Peter Green,
"Then Play On," and now an ultimate 1976 pressing of the immediately following album, "Kiln House."  Peter Green left not only
the band he formed in 1967, but the music business and....reality.  Another victim of the blazing musical inspiration during the
60's decade, yes, drugs were partially responsible but they gave so much at such a young age and that took the will to continue
for genius' like Syd Barrett, Peter Green, Jimi Hendrix, Gramm Parsons, Jim Morrison and so many who never made it past the early
1970's.   The early Fleetwood Mac albums are so rare in the only condition I would consider offering for sale, the album recorded
immediately after Peter's exit, had truly beautiful artwork for "Kiln House."  Peter Green was gone but his initial inspiration
would remain throughout every decade of Fleetwood Mac's incredible career, even today, the final chapter has yet to be written!

Peter Green had become disillusioned with being part of the music business and felt the money earned with Fleetwood Mac was
obscene, with the world full of poverty.  He began to sit and cry at the scenes of the suffering shown on his TV and he just gave
his money away to charity's like Oxfam.  Peter expected the other musicians in F.Mac to do the same, but they had to survive in
the material world and did not not share his deep sense of guilt or his intensive, near obsessive commitment.   Following a 1970
USA tour and on the eve of setting off to tour Europe, Peter Green simply walked away from the band he excitedly formed in 1967.
There was one final track cut and released as a single just before he left, "The Green Manalishi" had a haunting quality and the
anguish of his mental torment musical genius' often battle against. A quote Peter made at this time shows how he was feeling;

"There are many reasons why I'm leaving. The main thing is that I feel it is time for a change. I want to change my whole life,
I want to because I don't want to be a part of the conditioned world and as much as possible, I'm getting out of it."

Peter not only left Fleetwood Mac but he withdrew himself from society, it would be another three years before he felt he could
even leave his home again.   Fleetwood Mac made the best job of soldiering on without him, how do you replace the unreplaceable?
The band however still had formidable musicians and Peter's young protegé guitarist Danny Kirwin, had to mature even faster than
that extraordinary debut on "Then Play On".    They still had original founder member Jeremy Spencer as their second guitarist,
plus the wealth of experience also in Mick Fleetwood and John McVie.  The met Peter and formed a musical empathy during their
time with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers in 1967, Mick and John had their own problems with drink and drugs at he time but they were
given priceless tuition by John Mayall, after Peter walked away from F.Mac it was necessary to recharge their batteries, and they
followed the tradition begun by many bands in the late 60's. Traffic, Led Zeppelin, Fairport Convention and Humble Pie took refuge
in the British countryside, an old estate named 'Kiln House' where they found renewed inspiration and recorded this wonderful
"Kiln House" album.  One positive move would drastically go on to create one of the most successful Fleetwood Mac incarnations,
was the strong presence of John McVie's wife, Christine McVie.  Christine Perfect had been a leading member of Fleetwood Mac's
Blue Horizon label stablemates, Chicken Shack, Christine not only was performing with the band in Kiln House and recording the
now really important post Peter Green album, she also contributed her other artistic talent to paint the beautiful cover artwork.
Regardless of a Perfect or McVie surname, her name was tied contractually to Chicken Shack, her musical contribution had to be
kept a secret, but the lovely cover artwork did have her signature in 1970.  Christine became a full member of Fleetwood Mac and
a few months after the album was released, in  February, 1971, founder member slide guitarist and vocalist, Jeremy Spencer left
and was replaced by American guitarist, Bob Welch.   One of the many highlights on the final Peter Green album, "Then Play On,"
were the tracks the band jammed together in the studio, Fleetwood Mac were heading in a very heavy rock direction, but they never
lost their enjoyment and ability to improvise blues, which was staple diet for Christine as well with Chicken Shack.

With so much in place for a huge selling F. Mac album in September,1970, I find it very sad to write about the commercial failure
of "Kiln House."  I cannot even begin to understand how it could be possible, when during the same Autumn of 1970, "Albatross"
was still ever present on the radio and the band still had such a high profile.  Unfortunately fans always seem to jump from a band
like rats deserting a sinking ship at the first hint of recovering from losing a musician, "Kiln House" sold so poorly in 1970, a
brief 14 days in the UK charts stalled at No.40.  I would love to describe the tracks to demonstrate how great the album was and
still is, but accept the rarity of a unplayed record, I really dislike tainting such a loved, fantastic album with the word 'failure.'
Not in the USA though, it's ironic that "Kiln House" became so significant in America, "Kiln House" was so appreciated it was
the first time a Fleetwood Mac album ever entered the US Top 100.  One positive move that would drastically go on to create one
one of the 1970's most phenomenally successful F. Mac incarnations, was Christine leaving Chicken Shack to become an official
member, she had played on the 1968  "Mr.Wonderful"album and the retrospective "English Rose"LP.  Christine had also just recorded
and released her first solo LP "Christine Perfect, once again very low sales and another very rare LP today as the Blue Horizon
first pressing. With John McVie in the band it was logical to ask Christine to become the 'missing' fifth member of Fleetwood Mac
in August, 1970.  As this a 1976 pressing and I am unable to play the record and describe the tracks I might as well move towards
the next few years,  In 1971, there was the very famous story about Jeremy Spencer on a USA tour with Christine in the line-up,
Jeremy just walked out of their LA hotel, never to return.  After two days of hunting for him, they eventually found him with an
obscure but fanatical 'Children of God' cult, his hair was shaved off and like Peter Green, yet another founder member was lost
forever.  The complications that followed saw so many musicians came and go, until stability was established with the arrival of
Stevie and Lindsey, that will have to wait until I can find copies of those other non selling Fleetwood Mac LP's.  Commercial
success deserted the band for five long years, Peter Green's presence was indeed very difficult to replace, Lindsey was a massive
talent and Stevie was unique to say the least!   The relevance of the Stevie and Lindsey boosting Fleetwood Mac, concerns this
"Kiln House" and any second pressings of 1970 -1974 era LP's, with so few copies sold they are as rare as the first pressings.
The 1975 self titled / White album featuring Stevie and Lindsey for the first time, stuttered at first and appeared to not enter the
UK charts, it would take another whole year until 1976 in the UK to chart at a very reasonable No.23.  I doubt if that well known
but accurate month of this second non charting pressing of "Kiln House," because so few copies were made and bought, but the
known facts must give the most likely time, between November & December,1976.  Reprise knew what a fantastic album it was and
decided to give"Kiln House" another chance, with the complete lack of interest, this pressing of "Kiln House" is equally rare as
the 1970 original, in this unplayed mint condition, even more so.

    R & M RECORDS.

My lifetime's love of music and records began at a very young age, the arrival of the Beatles and the 1960's decade
in general had a very profound effect. It was only natural to bring all my first hand experience of collecting vinyl
into becoming a professional record seller.  Nearly thirty years ago we entered into the wonderful atmosphere
of record fairs with the highest possible standards set. When the Internet became the world's new market place for
vinyl, in 2001 it was time to join ebay. Those standards were rigidly adhered to as they will always continue to be,
the basics of honesty and integrity were very much part of the era the music I love originated in, so here is our friendly
and very efficient service we are proud to provide;

EVERY RECORD IS FULLY PLAYED AND COMES WITH A 'NO ARGUMENT' MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.
I USE GOOD OLD COMMON SENSE AS WELL AS A GLOBALLY ACCEPTED GRADING TERMINOLOGY
FROM THE U.K. "RECORD COLLECTOR PRICE GUIDE" BOOK.
THERE IT CLEARLY STATES "Sound Quality" AFFECTS EVERY GRADING LEVEL AND THAT IS THE ONE
AND ONLY POSSIBLE WAY TO ACCURATELY GRADE RECORDS. i.e. COMBINING A STRICT VISUAL
INSPECTION WITH VERY CLOSELY LISTENING TO EVERY SECOND, UNLESS PERHAPS IN THE CASE
OF GENUINELY UNPLAYED VINYL.  EVEN THEN WE STILL TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR A RECORD

We have kept all our charges at the same level for years now, but due to the Post Office's new price increases, regretfully we
will have to increase the cost of LP's, however, singles will remain unchanged.  Ebay were aware of that happening and have
increased their minimum postal cost for LP's to £7.00, that figure has been enforced by the UK Post Office and it will become
our UK First Class, Recorded Delivery cost for albums up to the value of £46.  A temporary reduction this week means we can
now post LP's for £5, but who knows how long before the Post Office return to £7?

For LP's valued above £46, the cost will be £9, we are unhappy about either increase but our high standard of packaging has meant
in 13 years of ebay trading, there has not been one record damaged, we are determined to maintain that in the present and future.

IN THE UK RECORDS UP TO THE VALUE OF £46 WILL BE SENT RECORDED DELIVERY, OVER £46 WILL BE
SENT SPECIAL DELIVERY.
