=======================================
Twilight Time
... Eugene Amaro ...
with the Laurie Bower Singers
Toronto-born and raised, Gene began his career on flute at age 8. His fellow students at St. Michael's Choir School included 8 guys who were soon to become famous as Canada's first internationally-known vocal groups -- The Four Lads and The Crew Cuts.
In 1958 Gene at the age of 20 formed his own band and led it for the next 11 years at the Seaway Hotel. Pianist and vocal partner was a young Bill Badgley. In 1970 studio work beckoned as did CTL producer Johnny Burt. The Amaro sax is heard regularly as part of Rob McConnell's Boss Brass and in concert with visiting bands led by Quincy Jones, Woody Herman and Benny Goodman. Tenor is his mainstay but he also sizzles on soprano, alto and baritone sax .. soprano, alto and bass flute ... piccolo and clarinet. (liner notes)

SS
Still Sealed
9
NM
Near Mint records will look like new or almost-like-new, with at worst, a minor surface mark(s). (This is usually the TOP grade for an unsealed album)
8
VG+
Very Good Plus records will be nice and shiny with only minor surface marks which shouldn't affect the sound
7
VG
Very Good records will still be nice & shiny but have more pronounced scuffs/scratches which will likely be audible
-----------------------------------------------
6
G+
I don't list many items below VG ... but may do so if it's a desirable title ... so a Good Plus or Good may be acceptable if it's the only condition available ...
5
G
these two grades will include records with signs of wear, deeper scratches and pops/clicks during play ... still may be worth keeping until an upgrade is found ...
