Not guilty,
For getting in your way,
While you’re trying to steal the day.
Not guilty,
And I’m not here for the rest,
I’m not trying to steal your vest.

I am not trying to be smart,
I only want what I can get.
I’m really sorry for your ageing head.
But like you heard me said,
Not guilty.

No use handing me a writ,
While I’m trying to do my bit.

I don’t expect to take your heart,
I only want what I can get.
I’m really sorry that you’re underfed,
But like you heard me said,
Not guilty.

Not guilty,
For looking like a freak,
Making friends with every Sikh.
Not guilty,
For leading you astray,
On the road to Mandalay.

I won’t upset the apple cart,.
I only want what I can get.
I’m really sorry that you’ve been misled.
But like you heard me said,
Not guilty.
THE BEATLES: "Anthology Volume 3" UK TRIPLE ALBUM, 28th OCTOBER,1996, SEALED IN SHRINK WRAPPING.
TRIPLE GATEFOLD COVER STILL FACTORY, RARE SHRINK WRAPPING IS COMPLETELY ENCASING THE WHOLE COVER,
  INCLUDING THE OPENING EDGES.
As mentioned rather firmly while listing "Anthology Volume 1" recently, also bought from the same 'HMV' UK record shop and also
factory sealed, the current availably on ebay are NOT original 1990's UK pressings, made in unknown East European countries,
not from Abbey Road Studio's Master Tapes but standard CD's!  Photo copied covers of substandard printing made in 2015, are
lacking the authenticity being presented here.  I resent having to place strictly limited, genuine first pressings , alongside the
counterfeit/re-issues, sealed or not, they are not first pressings, I will again provide all you need to know to tell them apart.
Please see my close up picture of the bar code, containing the above UK catalogue number,"Printed In UK" & EMI's distribution.
With the recent flood of so called 'Beatles limited pressings' from 1988 to the 2000 era, a period when only genuinely limited
vinyl pressings were made, I have found the bar code information very useful for authentication of the real thing.  John Lennon
wrote "Nothing is real" in 1967 and how true that has become for counterfeit items, but bar codes were present over the last few
decades and they are as definitive as items like original stickers, stickers that were purpose made and not printed directly onto
the covers.  Ironically the "Anthology" series and related pair of Beatles singles picture sleeves, had the back covers looking
like packing cases, the credits & titles were indeed printed with even 'lifting corners' & 'shadows' on the edges, this has real
stickers on the cover!  With so many counterfeit pressings, it's really easy to identify authentic UK & USA vinyl "Anthology",
especially for sealed copies, you only can be 100% certain when the covers have original "Anthology" stickers on Volumes 2 & 3.
UK first pressings of "Anthology 1" did not have a sticker on the cover, as so few were shrink wrapped, examining the actual cover
and records with the very distinctive EMI machine stamped maitrix, easily identifies unique features no later pressings ever had.
That very much includes the latest wave of "Anthology 1" currently being sold on ebay...... sealed with shrink wrapping.

Authentic cover stickers were stuck directly onto the front of USA Capitol Records and UK EMI first pressings, even the position
was unique to which side of the Atlantic Ocean they originated from;
"Anthology" USA Stickers - Front far right, approximately a third of the way down.
"Anthology" UK Stickers - Front, top left corner, literally in the corner.
Recently made copies currently for sale on ebay, are of unspecified and unknown origin, NOT from the original Master Tapes, all
the material is most likely taken from poorly transferred standard CD's.   Covers will appear to be original on a screen because
they were photo copied from original's, becoming the most important of all for sealed first pressings versus counterfeit copies.
Once you have moved past the original USA & UK vinyl first pressings, you are into the unknown, even worse still, currently sold
copies have been sealed in shrink wrapping, preventing checking the run-out grooves for authentication.  The genuine sealed first
first pressings will hopefully still have the original record shop stickers unremoved.  For example, this album has two UK record
shop 'HMV' price and stock stickers, the one on the back has specific  "Anthology 2" title, catalogue number etc. and the front
the price, in fact even a revised higher price!  Along with the original first edition only "Anthology" stickers that will always
be under the shrink wrapping because they predated the shrink wrapping.  I will give comprehensive descriptive details of this
cover below, plus a full range of close up pictures, a sealed UK first pressing is very rare and this is the perfect example.

The overwhelming majority of UK first editions without shrink wrapping, will of course have "Anthology" stickers on the cover.
So few vinyl pressings were made, the stickers were stuck on by hand and the actual angles differ from cover to cover, creating
the same individuality of every single USA & UK "Anthology 2" &"Anthology 3", found on the 1960's earliest Beatles records.
("Anthology 1" did not have a large oblong shape sticker)

"Anthology 2" has a deep pink background to black print, including a vertical catalogue number, the same as found on the top of
the spine and the top number on the bar code.  The actual numerical derivative from the full UK number can be shorter, depending
on the position. "Anthology 3" has a yellow background to black print, including a vertical catalogue number, the same as found on the top of
the spine and the top number on the bar code.  The actual numerical derivative from the full UK number can be shorter, depending
on the position.  For this yellow & black sticker, the number is; '8 34451 1'.  * Please see below or the picture of the sticker.
APPLE LABEL: PCSP 729 / 7243 8 34451 10.*

TRIPLE GATEFOLD COVER STILL IN THE FACTORY SHRINK WRAPPING, COMPLETELY ENCASING THE COVER
AND THE OPENING EDGES, ALL INSIDE WILL BE BRAND NEW CONDITION, NO SCRAPES OR SPLITS AT ALL.
These genuine first UK pressings were....UK printed and made from massively heavy duty cardboard, needed to hold three
heavyweight records, ending up with one of the widest spines of all time for all three "Anthology" volumes.  Only some of
the first editions of "Volumes 1, 2 & 3" were factory shrink wrapped, it appears some of the biggest British record stores
ordered them specifically.  To tightly wrap shrink wrapping around a single cover with one record inside, can cause the
shrink wrapping to live up to it's name and purpose, constricting tugging on the corners.  For such bulky covers that was a
common enough occurrence, I assess every one individually because no two covers reacted exactly the same.  This cover
has no constriction beyond pressuring the top right corner, in fact, it might have been how the thick cardboard was folded, after
20 years nothing at all on the other corners, edges and spine.  Usually lost when the shrink wrapping was removed, this has
all the original stickers and therefore contains the album's full history, something the currently sold copies of "Anthology"
on ebay as 'original' cannot possibly have, because they are counterfeit/fakes.  Made in far flung Eastern European countries
without an official license, the sound will NOT be Abbey Road Master Tape sourced, but made decades years after strictly limited
1996 first pressings.  The printing is poor and clearly not taken from the original templates and the details I have here of a
genuine late 1996, 20th century UK printed and pressed "Anthology Volume 3," is rarely seen with such incredible detail.

The real beauty of this 100% authentic UK first pressing, it was bought from 'HMV', so all three stickers I will list below, are
precisely how the album was placed on sale in 1996.   No bootleg / pirate / counterfeit copy could ever replicate such concrete
evidence of authenticity.   This copy should be on constant display to counteract the fake pressings, I sincerely hope this stays
sealed with all the stickers permanently preserved, the importance of such an ultimate 20th century first pressing will become
very sought after in the the coming years and way, way into the future.

My first thoughts are to pose a question, "What was more important, having nine records or six CD's of "The Beatles Anthology," or
this amazing once in a lifetime project, re-uniting Paul, George, Ringo and Yoko representing John?"  That cannot be answered
because there would not have been one without the other, the scars from the Beatles breaking up in 1970 had never really healed
and the shocking murder of John in 1980, had left Paul without the opportunity of a personal reconciliation. I had never admired
Paul McCartney more than when the media descended on him in a state of shock and grief, directly after that terrible news broke,
he was asked intrusive questions outside his home about his reactions to the loss, most would turned away from.  Unflinching but
struggling to keep his emotions under control, with all the cameras pointed at him, Paul's answered with an openness and honesty
that was humbling to see and hear.  The seeds for "Anthology" were sown that day and even though it took five years to complete,
the 1990's decade  was when EMI's master tapes were thrown wide open and Paul, George, Ringo and Yoko were now ready to
unlock the past.  What was found was staggering, but even more so, during the 80's Yoko's custodianship of John Lennon's private
tapes had been exceptional, she oversaw the release of two stunning 'new' John Lennon albums, now she gave John's demo's of the
songs he had been recording during his self imposed 'exile' from the music business.  As all fellow fanatical bootleg collector's had
assembled and heard, the John Lennon songwriting genius had burnt as brightly as ever, for the first time in 25 years one of those
fantastic piano demo's had Paul, George & Ringo recording the 'missing Beatles' instruments and vocal harmonies, "Free As A Bird"
was released as a Beatles single on Apple.  Even for the fanatical collector's of unofficial material, previously unheard demo's,
rehearsals, complete songs and unbelievable studio out-takes were made available in Master Tape sound quality for the first time.
The whole series of 'Beatles Anthology' was broadcast on TV in 1995 and the archive films presented mostly previously unseen
material from a visual and audio perspective, I recorded them before I realised that same Christmas the complete series was made
available in a video box set, another item without a value, but the DVD's were a massive leap in quality

Interestingly, my Anthology video box set that cost over £100 at the time, would soon became valueless and useless in the wake of
the digital DVD box set release, at half of that extortionate video price.  Like those those who also bought all three vinyl editions
of the triple set, the CD's never made them redundant and on the contrary, the Beatles Anthology was responsible for beginning a
revival and love of vinyl, we are currently still experiencing.  I have no idea of values of the second hand played/unplayed CD
double disc versions of the complete "Anthology" series, but I am certain it will be much lower than their cost new in 1996!  For
the vinyl versions the opposite is true, which makes perfect sense to me, they were made in extremely low numbers and so I had
every reason to start introducing the same identification methods I give with Beatles 60's records!  Records were how we heard
the Beatles music as it was freshly written and recorded, in 2015, nothing has changed and even with downloading music becoming
a way of life, there are now vinyl pressings made of most new releases of most artists latest albums and singles. I described and
listed a sealed "Anthology 2"  Tuesday, so I am probably covering the same ground to a certain extent here.  That was released
in March,1996, with unreleased material 1965 to 1967, moving into the glorious the psychedelic era, but sensationally a second
'new Beatles' single was recorded from another Lennon piano demo "Real Love."  With Jeff Lynne, Paul, George and Ringo added
the'missing Beatles input,d "Real Love" was included on "Volume 2".

On offer here is the final installment, "Anthology 3" was issued on the 28th October 1996, with rehearsals, out-takes and demo's
from perhaps the most loved of all the Beatles LP's, "The White Album," plus  for "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be." Originally plans
were made for a third Beatles single created from another John Lennon demo masterpiece of a song, "Now And Then," but it was
abandoned.... apparently, but work did begin, so come on Apple, let's hear how far Paul, George and Ringo got!  Alternately you
can find John's original demo on a bootleg, what a fantastic song that is, a little low on hi-fi properties but a glorious melody
and I would love to hear Paul and George harmonising with John's basic recording.  Instead Apple came up with another treasure
to open this fantastic third and final Anthology volume with, "A Beginning" was an unused orchestral instrumental track recorded
for "The White Album" in 1968, but left on Abbey Road's master tapes.  Perhaps I should have given a fuller track run through in
my track listing, on reflection, that is comprehensively detailed inside the album and this is just a brief look at the album.

Both UK and USA versions were released, the format and sound was identical and neither has any differences, beyond the stickers
and bar codes on USA first pressing stating 'Captitol Records' and US catalogue numbers, the UK details can be found in my opening
headings and seen in the pictures.  Both were sold side by side in UK shops, last year I sold the USA "Anthology 3" on ebay and
that was also sealed in shrink wrapping, experience with both original issues is vital. Like the recently sold "Anthology 1", this
is complete with two 1996 UK record shop stickers from 'HMV', in this case the famous record shop was in London's Oxford Street.
Most of the strictly limited UK vinyl versions of all three volumes, were sold without being sealed and even if they were, it was
removed with any record shop stickers on purchase, they are extremely rare if unopened like this.

    R & M RECORDS.

My lifetime's love of music and records began at a very young age, the arrival of the Beatles and the 1960's decade
in general had a very profound effect. It was only natural to bring all my first hand experience of collecting vinyl
into becoming a professional record seller.  Nearly thirty years ago we entered into the wonderful atmosphere
of record fairs with the highest possible standards set. When the Internet became the world's new market place for
vinyl, in 2001 it was time to join ebay. Those standards were rigidly adhered to as they will always continue to be,
the basics of honesty and integrity were very much part of the era the music I love originated in, so here is our friendly
and very efficient service we are proud to provide;

EVERY RECORD IS FULLY PLAYED AND COMES WITH A 'NO ARGUMENT' MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.
I USE GOOD OLD COMMON SENSE AS WELL AS A GLOBALLY ACCEPTED GRADING TERMINOLOGY
FROM THE U.K. "RECORD COLLECTOR PRICE GUIDE" BOOK.
THERE IT CLEARLY STATES "Sound Quality" AFFECTS EVERY GRADING LEVEL AND THAT IS THE ONE
AND ONLY POSSIBLE WAY TO ACCURATELY GRADE RECORDS. i.e. COMBINING A STRICT VISUAL
INSPECTION WITH VERY CLOSELY LISTENING TO EVERY SECOND, UNLESS PERHAPS IN THE CASE
OF GENUINELY UNPLAYED VINYL.  EVEN THEN WE STILL TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR A RECORD
WHEN A CUSTOMER RECEIVES EITHER A SEALED OR AN UNPLAYED RECORD.

We take 100% responsibility after an item has been posted and offer our fullest support in the event of any problems.

UNDER PAYPAL & EBAY'S GUIDELINES, ALL RECORDS WILL BE SENT VIA A FULLY INSURED TRACKABLE

We have kept all our charges at the same level for years now, but due to the Post Office's new price increases, regretfully we
will have to increase the cost of LP's, however, singles will remain unchanged.  Ebay were aware of that happening and have
increased their minimum postal cost for LP's to £7.00, that figure has been enforced by the UK Post Office and it will become
our UK First Class, Recorded Delivery cost for albums up to the value of £46.  A temporary reduction this week means we can
now post LP's for £5, but who knows how long before the Post Office return to £7?

For LP's valued above £46, the cost will be £9, we are unhappy about either increase but our high standard of packaging has meant
in 13 years of ebay trading, there has not been one record damaged, we are determined to maintain that in the present and future.

IN THE UK RECORDS UP TO THE VALUE OF £46 WILL BE SENT RECORDED DELIVERY, OVER £46 WILL BE
SENT SPECIAL DELIVERY.
