WOW!
What we have here is an original RCA Victor REFERENCE ACETATE for Dennis Day's classic DISNEY telling of the "Johnny Appleseed" story!
For those unfamiliar, reference acetate's were made PRIOR to pressing a vinyl LP, generally circulated within a record company as a "first listen" before the record is sent to press.

Needless to say, these were made in extremely limited quantity! Truly a unique item for the Disney record collector!
This is a 12" SINGLE SIDED acetate, and plays at 33.3 RPM



CONDITION
VINYL: G+ Traditional record grading does not really apply to acetate discs, as the mere act of playing the delicate laquer degrades the audio quickly. We have NOT attempted to clean this, we'll leave that to you. There are many visible scuffs and light scratches, with some deeper "feelable" scratches as well. There is no chipping or flaking. We have briefly listened to a few moments, and there is considerable surface noise.
SLEEVE: Reference acetates seldom came with picture sleeves. This will ship in a brand new generic LP sleeve.

LABELS: Minor peeling at one edge of label. Please see photos for label condition!

Packing:
We ship all records in strong cardboard mailers, packed with extra cardboard stiffeners.
All vinyl will be packed in a paper inner sleeve, outside of it's original sleeve to prevent splits.

Grading:
We offer conservative VISUAL grades of all vinyl. This means that unless noted, we do not listen to every record listed. We do offer many years of experience in visual grading. If you are unhappy with our grading, or feel we missed something, please see our returns policy.

SEALED RECORD POLICY:
It is assumed when selling sealed records, that the record is in near mint, "like new" condition. This is not always the case however, as pressing defects, and damage incurred by storage may be present. At the buyers request, we will carefully open and inspect a sealed record before sending, but we cannot accept returns on records that were shipped sealed and then opened.

Returns:
If you are unhappy with your purchase in any capacity, we will gladly offer a full refund, including your initial postage costs,  upon receiving the returned item. Your satisfaction is important, and we're always happy to accept a return and  refund your money, rather than deal with Paypal claims or bad feedback!
