Another Re-issued Gem that I obtained back in the 80's is a reprint of the 1st E.P. from Def Leppard; Like the " First Strike " E.P. these were salad days for the future super group, as Rick Allen hadn't even joined, and this mint platter features alternate versions of two songs that would end up on their debut album " On through the night. " The real intriguing thing about this is hearing " Ride into the sun," as most fans are only familiar with the re-recorded version done in 1987; The tempo and lyrics are much different on this version, and it's fun to see the evolution of both the song and the band. Both sleeve and platter are mint, even being the age that they are; What can I say? I just collect these things since I was a teen and never played them, and besides...I have the CD! Johnny
