The BEATLES Collection is a 13-record set (actually 14, because the White Album is a 2-record set), from 1978. The serial number is BC13 0C 162-53163-53176. It includes the following albums:
- With the Beatles (Parlophone) - Yellow Submarine (Apple) - Please Please Me (Parlophone) - Sgt. Pepper (Parlophone) - A Hard Day's Night (Parlophone) - White Album (Apple) - Rubber Soul (Parlophone) - Let It Be (Apple) - Beatles for Sale (Parlophone) - Abbey Road (Apple) - Revolver (Parlophone) - Rarities (Parlophone) - Help! (Parlophone)
The box itself has some minor wear at the corners, and on the inside, there are a few light brown dots that appear to be glue that has seeped through the paper over time, but it is otherwise in excellent condition. There is a price tag from the store where it was purchased originally (the HMV shop, £64.99). Aside from some very minor scratches on one side of "Rarities," all of the albums are in near-mint to mint condition and look like they've never been played! The sleeves of "With the Beatles," "Please Please Me" and "A Hard Day's Night" each have a 1-inch minor surface tear in the crease (as if caused by closing the box lid), and the "Rarities" sleeve has some very slight creases, but otherwise, the sleeves are in excellent condition. All albums have the original inner sleeves, in excellent condition. The "White Album" contains the original poster and all 4 pictures of each of the Beatles, all in mint condition. The Sgt. Pepper album does not contain the card, although I can't say for sure if it ever did. This is an outstanding collection in overall excellent condition!!!
