Record in Very Good Plus to Excellent Condition. Record has no scratches nor scuffs noticeable. Record has very few light handling marks. Side A of record has original shine and gloss; side B is matt and not glossy. Record sleeve in Very good plus condition. Sleeve has light abrasion marks alongside due to years of shelf time and/or handling. Record original shrink in excellent shape.

This record is one of many records from my father's collection. Most records were purchased in NYC during 1955-1970. I have not listened to the records to determine quality; Grading is based on visual inspection only.

 

RECORD GRADING CRITERIA:

MINT: My visual inspection has revealed no scratches nor scuffs on the playing surface. Furthermore, the playing surface is clean and the record seems to have been played very little if at all. The sleeve seems crisp and clean - almost as new.

NEAR MINT: My visual inspection has revealed no scratches nor scuffs on the playing surface. Furthermore, the playing surface is clean and while the record would seem to have been played, it is undamaged. The sleeve seems to have only slight signs of handling and storage.

EXCELLENT: The surface of the record is clean and free of scratches and scuffs. While the disc has obviously been played, it is not worn with excessive use or damaged in any way. Any faint marks would be noted. It does not mean that there are non-sounding marks of any kind on the playing surface. The sleeve shows signs of handling and storage; any significant marks or staining would be mentioned in the description.

VERY GOOD PLUS: Shows slight signs of wear, light scuffs or scratches may be present but they should not affect playback other than faint surface noise. Cover sleeve is considered still “frame able” yet when observed closely will show to have a flaw or small flaws, very minor ring wear if any, seams and spine intact but not pristine
