Outstanding Italian virtuoso banjo performances by Mario de Pietro, recorded in London in 1927. Both sides included on Spottswood's excellent "Italian String Virtuosi" CD on Rounder, back in the day. Piano accompaniment both sides, as was often the standard. Pietro died in 1945.
